Yay Bret! You gonna go diving?

In new virulent entertainment, name the inventive noshing genre.

Mmm, food! Happy Thanksgiving, all!

Absolutely! Actually, there is nothing else really to do there unless you want to take a day trip to the Camel market in Port Berniece and speding hours walking around having those nasty bruts spitting at you is NOT my idea of fun!

We have (officially) 8 cm of snow on the ground! UGH! It was more like 12 where I live....

Snows normally offer waning flora leaning listlessly.

No snow where I am but yes in the northern half of Spain. It's something I miss though, a little snow a couple of times a year is great.

Like, it's still toward later - everyone should stretch less yesterday.

Y word!

"Y" word? Where?

Headlines in German Newspapers today:

"Snow Has Overhead Utility Lines Down"

Thankfully, not around where I live but only 2 hours by car north there were about 1/4 million people without power over the weekend! <brrrrr!>

Redheads :inlove Don't get me started.....

Diving Really Often Makes Ear Drainage A Really Interesting Experience Sometimes

I know... it is kind of gross :yack but I need to whip up some ear drops for me and I need to find the recipe. I recall it was Isopropyl Alcohol, Glycerine, and vinegar if I remember but I don't recall in what proportions.....

I use around 70% isopropyl alcohol with boric acid (up to saturation). Either the pharmacy can mix it for you or you can buy the boric acid apart (it's comes as a powder) and just keep mixing in the acid until it starts to precipitate. It ends up being a 13% solution I belive. I can't remember if it's 70%, 72%, 76% alcohol, that's not important, I was recomended to not use the 90% range of alcohol because it may irritate the ear canal. (It did with me after using it a few days in a row before using 70% alcohol.)

The boric acid is for disinfection.

THANKS! I don't know what the water is like in the Red Sea but I know that after EVERY dive in the Maldives, one is supposed to rinse the ears with fresh water due to all the plankton in the water. Otherwise you are asking for an ear infection..... I did that but a little extra help is not a bad idea. I also heard the part about too high a % of alcohol being a problem because it dries the ear canal totally. That was where the glycerine came in.....
