Advice Needed

Hi, there.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows or has heard of this problem I'm having. I haven't been able to clear my right ear for about a month know. My right Euctcian Tube is blocked. I have taken an antibiotic ear drop and that didn't work. Know I have started Nasonex.

If anyone has heard of this I would appreciate it. And I dont think it is allergies, because why would my left tube work.

You may have what is known as Glue ear, have you ever had grometts inserted as a child, sorry I do not know how old you are.

I'm 21 and I haven't ever had grometts inserted. But what is a grometts. This is just a recent thing. What is Glue Ear?

Advise

Glue ear is a common condition that young people often get. It is basically where the eustatchion tube continually closes and therefore fluid collects. Grommets are small plastic inserts that are used keep the tube open, these in time fall out.

But if you have never had them done as a child I am not sure if this is possible. I would get your ears checked with your Doctor to see if this may be your problem.

I would get them checked anyway as there are a number of ear drops that can help with your problem.
