Hello,

I'm trying to find more informations about the AIDA ladder (from * to instructor trainer). It looks like information is sparse and not easy to find on the internet.

I would like to have, for each level :

- the requirement (perf, theory and practical exams)
- the minimum level of the instructor that can certify you
- the official price you have to pay
but, more importantly, I'm interested by extra requirements*:
- number of time you have to keep a level before going to the next one, number of certifications you have to give as an instructor, experience you should have, etc)

This is very formalized in scuba diving (see [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_Instructor]Master Instructor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] ) but I was not able to find such requirements on the AIDA website.

perfs:
level 1: 8m CW, 1.15 STA, 25m DYN
level 2: 16m CW, 2.00 STA, 40m DYN
level 3: 24m CW, 2.45 STA, 55m DYN
level 4: 32m CW, 3.30 STA, 70m DYN

+ written exam and practical skills...

4 star also requires a valid First Aid cert

Instructor can teach level 1-3, specialties
Master Instructor can teach level 1-4, specialties
Instructor Trainer can teach instructors, level 1-4, specialties

specialities:
monofin freediver
competition freediver
competition safety freediver
deep tank freediver

Thanks.

Is there a list of the practical skills ?

What are the requirements between each instructor steps ?
