groovy vid! as for everyone saying it was "perfect", i doubt there was any other kind of answer given, nothing else to choose from.

I think Eva answered "excellent", which is also a good answer.

Hi everybody,

I asked Sandi of H2O some questions about the competition and want to share his awsers with you all:

1) How many athletes wil qualify to participate in the final in Dynamic? and how many for the final Dynamic No Fins? and how many for the final Static?

- Finals will be done with 2x8 competitors so 8 competitors are in A finals (1-8 place) nad 8 in B finals (8-16 place).

2) Swimming the width of the pool in the Dynamic No Fin discipline I have not seen a bottom line to follow, only an end indicator. I thought that you may be able to buy a piece of black plastic to create a line and a T on the bottom. Athletes are used to following such a line, it is a peace of mind thing. Counting the widthlines is a distraction that may lead to miscalculated distance and bad turns.

- There are some bottom lines but it is not perfect. We already have a solution with tiles so no worries.

What i noticed:
where are Tom Sietas and Wolle Neugebauer???? Hopefully there will sign in... as there are definitly the best german divers out there (at least in pool disciplines)
I'm also positively surprised to see Carlos coste on the in-list, does it mean he is fit enough to compete again already?

Christophe

I made a separate page on my website for all news and articles related to this competition. Just wrote an extensive part about the current competitors list. Or to be more precies, who's missing at this moment. WC 2007 Pool « Shark Freediving

As I've heard (I'm not 100% sure) Herbert is going to be on a depth training at the time of the pool WCh. Too bad. Anyway he focused more on the depth in the last years. That's why his STA WR was such a nice surprise. We will see his 700. (may be)

Thanx Ben

PS. My best memory from Lausanne WC was the extremly high waterslides. Nagel fixed us up with one hour for free. I felt like 12 years old
