Hi all,

Want to spark some discussion on potential individuals and teams that might be contenders for winning the Worlds in Sharm in a few weeks.

Any thoughts?

I feel like saying the UK are the No.1 contenders, but I think people don't always get my sense of humour!!

Chatting to Ant Williams, Ryouzo Shinomiya and Rob King, we have all said that New Zealand and France seem to be the top two. However, Czech Rep is coming with Martin and Sweden, Denmark, Greece all have very strong teams.

It has move on a fair way from Vancouver 2004!

Hi All,
I am heading to Sharm tomorrow evening and hopefully I will be able to send you info on whats going on once I am there.
Apparently the information black hole we are experiencing is due to a lack of consistent internet access at the competition hotel. Most athletes get online from a cafe in Sharm city. The organizer is meant to be setting up a wireless network soon so hopefully more info will be coming your way soon...

Cheers Stavros

Given that the 2008 worlds are already over long ago, it is simply a matter of looking up the results to see who is most likely to win (i.e. who actually won!)

Why would he risk the team effort and go for a WR, it doesn make sense.

Seb

They had been unlucky and dropped some points already so they opted to go balls out to put the pressure on the other teams.

I had official time on my watch and his top had started while i was still round the corner on the bus. I got out of the bus and walked over to the pool and still saw 6 lengths and he was clean as anything :)

Respect!
