Does anyone know what the deal is with the AIDA's USA site?
Looks like it has not been updated for a year or so and the
contact people do not respond to emails? I just mailed them a
check to join and now I'm having second thoughts.

You're not the only one who never seems to get a response from AIDA USA's offices.

You might try getting a hold of Kirk Krack and seeing if he can get some type of action going on your request. He is the head for AIDA Canada and should have some clout with getting an answer for you.

You would think with the United States strong showing at the recent Sony Freediver Classic that AIDA USA would be more reponsive to inquiries regarding membership :duh

Thanks Tanya for taking the time to respond to this issue.

Look forward to hearing more about what you have coming up for record attempts.

I just received a call from an AIDA rep to tell me he got the
membership information that I sent. He was a cool guy and said
the AIDA USA website will be updated soon. He also told me that the reason the team tryout schedule was not posted is because
they are waiting until next year to form a new team. All is well,
and I encourage other freedivers in the US to go to the AIDA
USA site and download the membership form. The address is...
