I also dive al winter long in 0-4C. I have a Cressi 2,5mm undervest under my 7mm Cressi Apnea wetsuit. I had a long quest for the best socks and I finally found these: Imersion Seriole 7mm, they are the best ( take one size smaler). Gloves are also critical. I choosed 7mm lobster gloves with sealed seams.
I have a one-hand-thermosbottle with hot water on my bouy and so equipped I dive about 80min before freezing. I leave water before I feel uncomfortable.
