When not diving everything's okay. But pain always comes to my neck (around the cervical vertebra) when I get to regular freediving training. To mention more, my cervical vertebra is in kind of reverse-bow shape.
How can I deal with or even avoid the pain?

My guess would be that it's not directly related to freediving, but probably 2 or 3 things you're doing while diving..

1) do you wear a neck weight? How heavy is it?

2) how is your positioning? Is your head in a neutral-spine position or is it slightly extended?

3) any pre-existing injuries to the area or even the shoulders? If you swim in the arrow-position it could aggrivate the area?
