Hey everyone.
I just moved to Switzerland, planning on being here for a long time. I've been binge reading on freediving and want to get involved in the sport. I love swimming in open water. Any chance I get, I'm in. I think that freediving will give me more depth to my love of the great blue (pun intended).

My interests are in cold water freediving and spearfishing. Im planning on getting my breath holding up over the winter through training and do some more reading. Maybe making a few dives in the clear lakes here and then going on a trip this summer.

Happy to be on the forum and hear more from you all!

Welcome to Deeperblue! Have you taken a freediving class? Those can help greatly with technique and safety.

Thats a great recommendation BatRay. Im hoping to find a good crew here in Switzerland that goes regularly. Reading and doing are completely different. Im ready to get out and give it a try.
