Anchor setup for Dive Hunter

Ok I'm looking to get an anchor for my Okipa 2 dive hunter,
Would this be any good?

Yep should be fine, the kayak fishing guys I know use 0.7 or 1.5 anchors, and that's with some heavy kayaks, the okipa looks light from a quick search.

Yeah it's not heavy in the slightest, great piece of kit.

I did make a similar thread back in August about this but I never came to a conclusion.

i dont imagine that you need the chain or such thick line for a dive hunter. keep it simple with a thinner line and less weight...

Yes that's true.

Standard drop weight should do the trick Easy to retrieve & relocate when you are exploring different sections of the reef.

For my Kayak I use a larger anchor than that.The chain is essential as without it the anchor will not grip. Each rock of the boat will lift up on the anchor rather than raising the chain off the seabed. For recovery and easy stowage I use a dive reel search around and find the parts I got my reel from Anthony at Venture sports just last week £35 but I did change the line for something a bit heavier. Just need some weather to try it out now.
