hi i just wanted to ask if anyone knows some good spearfishing or freediving shops in the city of napoli/italy?
my cousine is going to stay there half a year i find it it a good opportunity to force her bringing loads of equipmentroflrofl

To hell with the spearfishing shops, that is the place I would like to visit some day.

A couple of years ago my wife and I went through Napoli on the way from Avignon to Positano, but we just changed trains to the local line and didn't leave the station. Our Italian friends have advised us that Napoli is not the city that we should visit without local guidance from a friend, not even for the best pizza in the world.

Meanwhile, I keep laboring away, trying to duplicate the crusts I have eaten in Italy. I'm close, but of course I don't have a wood fired oven. My gas grill with a pizza stone in it only gets up to about 600 F.

This picture was taken at Cacialli's pizzeria, in Naples, just 100 meters from Di Matteo (Cacialli and Di matteo used to share the property of a "Pizzeria" in via dei Tribunali, one of the most ancient and pictoresque roads in the old centere of the town. After working together for years, at a certain point they decided to split: Cacialli opened a new restaurant in the same road. You can imagine the anger of mister Di Matteo when, in July 2004, this very special american tourist was taken to the restaurant of his ex friend, now rival:

When we were going to Firenza or Roma, our Italian friends said much the same thing. As one of them put it "we'll steal your wallet, but we won't hurt you." I recall walking down dark narrow streets in Roma where I would have been frightened in LA or New York.

But they seemed to think Napoli was a bit more dangerous, so we took their advice. Or maybe they just thought it would be harder for us to avoid the places that tourists should stay away from.

Bill Clinton probably had better security than we would.

I suggest you also other 2 shop in Neaples:

- Italsub, Via Diocleziano 209 - 80124 Napoli (Fuorigrotta)
- Carosella Sport, Corso Garibaldi 54 - 80142 Napoli (near central train station, has also website carosellasub.com)



For pizza Di Matteo and il Presidente are good place, but try also Michele e Trianon (alwais near Via Tribunali).
