Diving Travel Offers Anyone carried their fins onto Hawaiian Airlines recently?

Hey Everybody :)

Am seriously considering just trying to walk these things on for my flight to Oahu in June, I'm just such a nervous nelly tho :unsure: Last time I brought them to the US Virgin Islands I went the safe route .. packed em in a nice, hard plastic rifle case but, everrrrybody had something to say about the case.
On top of avoiding the scrutiny I'd also prefer avoiding having to check a second item & pay the fee.
Any feedback, suggestions, or advice always much appreciated(y)
