i am coming down to devon for 2 weeks i can dive on 12 th and 13 th of april never tried uk water yet anyone interested showing me the ropes :)

I braved the water today for a late dive after work and Bagged my first fish of the year:friday:friday:friday:friday:friday:friday

3.5 pounds of pure mullet gold I nearly shed a tear. at least i would of if my face, hands and feet werent frozen.

I was on my way back in after seeing no fish what so ever when a shoal of around 15 mullet buzzed passed me, and then again about 3 minutes later, so I hid behind a rock and waited for them and nailed this monster:) as they came round again DAMN IT FELT GOOD. no more crappy morrisons fish for me.

ps: please excuse the daft look on my face I hate Foto's

Madturk depending on the time of year Torbay has lots of mullet. Stick to the outsides of the bay like Brixham breakwater and hopes nose theres almost always mullet around those areas in the summer.

hi scott i am coming down to devon 6th of april place called chudleigh for my knee rehab after a acl replacement i want to dive the following weekend never dived in uk you think brixham good for me can i park my car near to the dive spots i would appreciate if you give me some info thank you :)

Madturk Brixham breakwater and shoalstone both have carparks on the beach so theres very little walking to be done in fact all the beaches in torbay have car parks right next to them.

heres a list of a few webcams and websites I use to decide where to dive and when .

Brixham Breakwater Bistro this is the webcam for brixham breakwater. Camera works between5:33am and 7:13pm It also tells you wind direction and tide times for the breakwater

Webcams | TORBAY SURFING these are webcams around the bay, I use the corbyn head webcam to decide on Meadfoot which around the otherside of Torqauy town as they both face the same direction.

Accommodation Hope Cove South Devon, The Hope and Anchor Inn - Webcam I use this webcam as an indication for Thurlestone as its only 2 mile away and faces the same direction.

Surf Reports, Surf Forecasts and Surfing Photos is the holy grail :)

South Devon Fishing the kind boys on this site keep me informed on where the little fishies are been caught and are a friendly bunch.

thanks mate for your time hopefully weather will be good that weekend so i can try the uk waters looking forward to it thanks again for your help
