Does anyone have any thoughts or evidence that apnea training will lessen complications with respiratory diseases such as the coronavirus?

(Sorry for double posting, I put it in the normal forum before realizing there was a science one)

The "omygad" coronavirus is really just the common cold/flue for most healthy adults. Exercise, eat healthy food, don't drink and smoke too much you will be just fine. If one is recovering from the corona, breathing techniques associated with apnea training may be helpful. Speaking of, if you read Breatheology you may recall, "if you don't take the time to be healthy, you will ultimately have to take the time to be sick".
