Hello folks,

It's been a while since I frequented Deeperblue. I just saw Rick I.'s article and thought I'd share some pictures of the South Red Sea from my point of view.

The safari did indeed took us to a faraway place that is still largely pristine and I feel fortunate to have visited it.

Great shots Peter, particularly like the wide angle view of the wreck!

There are still more images all over the net. Lots of photographers on that trip. It would be good to see more of their photos.

Here are a few videos from the trip shot with the old fuzzier GoPro WIDE camera. The new HD is a lot clearer although still has some sharpness issues. Still a few more videos from the Red Sea that could be put together on Ephistone, the Labyrinth, a few excellent reefs in general, dugongs, etc..
