I didn't know where to post this. So I decided on here since I figure anyone who has went probably would be a Brit. It is British anyway. Anyone been? If so post a report please.

Hi mate,

I´ve read some reports of spearfishing in Ascension Island, but never been there, i believe that Colin Chester from "European Spearfishing Supplies" have been there some times.

From what i hear it's very expensive and difficult to get there.

I know a guy up the road who used to be in the RAF. He has told me that he used to go there for a week every year to fish (with a rod). He reckoned that it was about as good as you're going to find for fishing anywhere on this ball. I think it would be worth emailing these guys and seeing if they will take spearos out for sure

i think this is the place JamesT wanted to go for his birthday spearing trip! its not cheap around £3000 i think he said! looks good though

Thanks guys for all the help. Marco, actually a friend of mine has been in touch with Colin and has recieved some good info. from him. I was just hoping someone else had been there. Like you said scottie3030 its not going to be cheap. Good to meet all you "chaps". If any of you are ever in the states look me up.
