Aussie Fires

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

I just wanted to say to all the Aussie's in the Sydney area:

Hi Deron,

Thanks for your concern. Specially after the bad fires from last year, bushfires are a huge concern here in Australia.

The firefighters and helicopters have done a great job controlling the fires, then thankfully we had some rain to put an end to it. There maybe still a few small fires but I think they are under control.

It's unfortunate that there were quite a few houses and cars destroyed.

I wasn't anywhere near the fires, although one day I did wake up on the coast with smoke in the air and got woried. Smoke can get caried from a fair distance.
