I have a suggestion.
Is there anyway that an auto refresh is built in, so when you leave the forum page and return to the forums page the latest posts are always displayed?
I use some other forums that have this feature.
I am not sure if this is browser related or not.
I use Firefox personally so maybe its the fact that I am not using IE?

There are features along these lines. So long as you are logged in you can see the latest posts in a specific forum as they are highlighted with a small icon and are in Bold.

Also there is a "New Posts" option on the toolbar at the top of the forums next to Chat and Search. This will display all new posts since your last visit.
