I used to go snorkelling in Doha all the time, fab place!
The ocean was just a bit to far from Riyadh when I was there
Ye are all very lucky to have some great waters!

Currently I'm in Riyadh:vangry,but used to live in Jeddah and used to go for offshore about 70 km south of Jeddah nice spots for speargun but snorkling only,also used to go for boat trips with one friend who has a boat diving and spearfishing ,oh I miss those days:hmm
