Damn, I was going to hand out free Imersion wetsuits to all members who weren't there last year, but I now realize that it is a bad idea (sorry Erik rofl ). I will just stick to the daily contest prizes and the grand raffle prize.

Damn! Err.. I mean- Doh!

I called Karen at the Telegraph Cove office and reserved Colin and my same camp site from last year. I also have her temporarily/unofficially holding Gabe and Brianna's same site that was next to us, Lee's on the other side of us, and Eric and Peter's next to Gabe and Brianna. There are also additional sites next to us for everyone else who is coming.

These are not set in stone so if anyone that I just mentioned would like a little privacy away from the deeperblue village, feel free to reserve a different site number. I wouldn't want anyone to be awoken by snoring (I still think it was moaning) coming from the next tent. If you are awoken, ......just hand the male in the next tent a bottle of Cactus Juice so he gets drunk and can't do anything that will cause his wife to do any snoring.

As it stands Lee is in #98, Colin and I are in #100, Gabe and Bri are in #102, and Eric and Pete are in #104.

Everyone needs to call 1-800-200-4665, ask for Karen, and officially reserve your camp site.

Jim

To everyone coming:

I wanted to update on a slight change in the itinerary. One of the boat dive days has been shifted with one of the shore/rest days. Quick summary:

Sat - early bird arrival
Sun - shore dive/set-up
Mon - boat day
Tue - boat day
Wed - boat day
Thurs - shore dive/rest
Fri - boat day
Sat - depart/shore dive if you are staying longer

Depending on how people are feeling, each of the boat days can be tailored to our needs. If we are tired/cold, we are only committed to the $300 minimum + gas (6 hour or less). But, if we are eager and still hungry then we can extend the days with the hourly add-on.

Erik, I was planning on you already. I was expecting our site to be you, me and Lars.

Okay, this really, really sucks, but I'm pulling out of this trip. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
:duh :waterwork

Some unexpected expenses have made it impossible. Eric will represent the cult of the fancy pants deep monofin freedivers in my place. Erik, my speed racer friend, hope to see you in another time and place.

Anyone passing through Vancouver on the way in or out please give me a call - I'd love to see you. Gabe, I got your email and will reply soon. Definitely hope to see you and Brianna when you're here and go diving.

Pete

Colin,

I was planning on most of the main meals being a group effort and potluck. I will have some gear and lots of food to share with the mass. Should we formalize a menu or just bring hordes of food each and go with it when we get there?

lee

doesn;t matter to me, was just trying to save some folks some weight. if I/we already have cooking gear for the group no reason for others to worry about aquiring/packing a stove.

potluck sounds good!

Pete,

That really sucks. You will be missed.

lee

Pete, I will be spending the night of the 22nd at a hotel in maple ridge not sure how far that is from you, it's all "vancouver" to me. couple nice ladies taking me to "Tommy's" ? you're more then welcome to join in
