Hi, I have just discovered this site and off course the forum. I must say that I like it.
I have a question or two for anyone that is wiling to reply.
I have been scubadiving for 4 years, but I have only tried freediving more seriously (on my belief) two years ago and I admire it for many reasons. I like the silence, the movement, the freedom….

The problem is that I’m not very good at it. My best is probably your worst :duh = 15 meters.

Can you give me advise on how I can improve. ( breathing, training)

:thankyou

That is a very respectable start!!!

:D

I've personally never gone deeper than that, but mainly because I dive for spearfishing & even at that depth, my bottom-time is practically zero, so it's a fruitless endeavor.

There are many threads about various improvement methods, but the greatest aid is simply & purely practice. Get as much time in the water as possible whether it be the ocean, lake, or pool. The greatest asset to your immediate improvement will probably fall into 2 categories - physical conditioning and learning how to relax/meditate/etc.

Good luck!
