Beginner Fins

Im searching for bifins to serve the purpose of spearfishing in the UK . I am a novice and dont really feel like splashing out £140 for some:naughty .
Any good value for money options ??

You could do far worse than Omer Millenniums (£59) around here or even the Ice fins for a few dollars more. Ideal for the type of hunting we do up here, soft enough to be comfortable and still with enough kick to let you dive to the bottom everywhere you're likely to find yourself in.

Mike in Trearddur Bay has Cressi 2000hf in stock but you may find them a little stiff (and a little expensive there)

I second Pastor's suggestion. The Omer millenniums are good and, moreover, they have detachable blades. So you can start with a cheap plastic blade (Omer millennium green or black, or the better Millennium "Runner") and then after time upgrade to an Ice or a fiberglass or even a carbon blade without changing the footpocket.

Must admit I'm finding it hard to justify upgrading from my green Millenniums even though I hanker over the Ice fins; perhaps when they die altogether I will

Ive looked at the apnea site and the green millennium's are 'medium' stiffness - I reckon they should be ok for me ,
I am size 9 and will probably have to allow for a 3mm sock so the size 8-10 millenium's should fit ok ??

I'm a size 10 and I use a 2mm sock and the 11 - 13 fits OK. You're welcome to come over and try mine for size if you want before ordering. I suspect that you'll need the larger pocket.
