benefits of "apnea suit" over traditional wetsuit for diving in 72 degree water

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
mine has a plastic like coating that does away with the friction.
the downside of it is you have to poke little holes in the
hood to keep it from sealing around your ears. my vest was
$49 O'Neil made it.

I had a 3mm Body GLove hooded vest that was lined on both sides with nylon. I used that vest for a LONG time before I ever knew enough to buy a good freediving wetsuit.

If I layered it under a 3mm jumpsuit I could even freedive in 40 degree water for periods of time. Since the suit wasn't custom cut, and was lined with nylon on both sides it wasn't the warmest but still did the job for many years.

These nylon lined hooded-vest can be ordered through any dive shop and that alone should make them cheaper than a good freediving hooded vest.

Thanks to all the guys who positively Karma'd me and gave me some support.

You are all great.

On the other hand could the anonymous person who said that it was a racist comment please own up and tell me why its racist?

Does anyone else think it was a racist comment?

Alun gets the Karma! Ted, I'm blocked from giving you karma for a while. Anne Elk (yah!) is correct, and it was Cleese in the wig. Classic.
Cheers,
Erik Y.
