whats the best fin for under or near £30, im on a tight budget lol my current fins are teh typhoon hurricane and they are bloody aweful fins

There are several closed-heel fins in the 30 pound price range. For example the Cressi Pro Stars look pretty good. But go browse the store yourself, maybe you'll find something suited for your needs.

I use Mares Volo Race as backup freediving and dynamic apnea fins, and also for scuba and snorkeling, or when my legs are too tired to use the rather stiff long freediving fins. The Volo's feel quite soft, but are surprisingly efficient. When training dynamics, I practically do not see any difference in performance in comparison with my long blades (Beuchat Mundial Competition). I did not try them too deep for freediving though yet - just around -15m - and I did not feel any problems. In scuba, they are fine even deep down.
I think I paid 45€ for them, which should be something around £30 I believe. I can recommend them to anyone who needs excellent inexpensive universal fins. When I saw them the first time, they really looked like a gadget to me, but the seller (he is a spereo BTW) managed to convince me, and I am not sorry at all.
