Best online shops

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I buy alot of gear from JIMDOE2YOU's store: The Spearfishing Store
He ships pretty fast and is very reasonable.

Hey guys, I'm most likely going to use subprof for a pretty big order soon. I just checked out the link above and was wondering why it says everything is sold out? I'm just looking or some prices but can't seem to find any? I'm always loking to find the best prices I can. 1 thing I am definately getting is the Beuchat mundial camo wetsuit so if anyone knows of a cheaper store than subprof let me know.

Jono,

I just responded to your PM with prices that I am sure you will be thrilled with. :)

Regarding the lack of prices on the site, it is because the site is still under construction. Without the prices showing I was hoping it simply would preclude people from trying to add items to their cart and checking out. If you watch the site closely you will notice subtle changes daily. I am hoping to have the site open (after almost a year) with limited products within a few days by April 5th.

The link below demonstrates a little feature we have been working on that allows us all to place the cursor over the product's photo, and zoom in on a high definition photo of it. It is a bit hard to explain, so just try the link below, place your cursor on the Omer Cayman HF photo, and notice the movable smaller high definition photo that comes up.

Omer Cayman HF Speargun [Cayman HF Speargun] - $339.95 : The Spearfishing Store

Bent on being the best!!!,
Jim

My 2 pence worth-

I’ve used Spearo Dave, Apnea and Diving Direct in the UK and all are easy to deal with but,
For me its not always about "who’s the cheapest" service counts for a lot in my book and you don’t always get the best service or the best advice from the cheapest outlet.
I would personally pay a bit more and know that I’ve made a purchase from a helpful and friendly PERSON than I would by just ticking a few box’s on the screen in front of me.
For me what goes around comes around and lets see if your computer screen can help you out one day when your in a tight spot and need something in a bit of a hurry where as the personal touch that can be built up from a PERSON TO PERSON relationship can be priceless.
So before you tick the next box try giving the shop a ring and have a chat with the guy on the phone, you never know there might be a bit of info there that you never thought of, or the shop may have a better deal on something that’s not on-line.
I run a retail outlet for firearms and angling goods and I rarely advertise at all and have hardly any presence on the internet, its all done through word of mouth and person to person dealing and
the personal touch that can be built up through a knowledge of your customer base
, and i do well shall we say alright.:):)

I truley believe that word or mouth is the strongest form of advertising.
It can be a good thing or a bad thing as it only takes 1 person to make
or break a buisness...

Hey guys,

Jim just got back to me with prices and was very quick to reply! Great shipping prices, by far the best I've come across and Jim seems to know what good customer service is all about as he responded to me in less than 24hours. Any online purchases I'll be making will be through The Spearfishing Store as the prices are more than reasonable and the service is great. Plus Jim is obviously on the forum so anytime I need some info I can just PM him. But then that's what this forum is for and any info I need I can get through you guys.
Will mention though that I rang apnea.co.uk a while back and the person I spoke with was very helpfull and knowledgable. So kudos to them too!!!

There you go that’s just what I’m talking about, a bit of personal service.
Jim has obviously hit it off with you so now you’ll use him whenever possible and even if on the odd occasion he may not be the cheapest on a certain item chances are you’ll get it from him anyway as you know the service will be there.
I’ll tell you people there’s nothing like a happy customer, gives me a warm glow inside……..............(the bank account):)

Just jumping on the "customer service" bandwagon. jimdoe2you (The Spearfishing Store) definately has the best customer service, and the best prices around. I met him on another forum, and after ordering a few products from him, immediately became lifetime customer! podge is right customer service these days means a lot, but when you combine that with great prices you can't go wrong!

just ordered from apnea.co.uk and from my experience they were very helpful, answered emails and informed me of expected delivery times for a non-stocked suit. Slightly worrying buying wetsuits online but the omer size guide was accurate for me.

James and Joseph Spearfishing in San Diego is now operating Speardeals.com.

We just got the site running, but all of the products offered on the site are offered in-store as well, so it should always be in stock.

Links are in my Sig. line; I don't wanna self promote, but I saw a couple comments on here that contradict our existence ;)

I've had success ordering from blueh20.com and neptonicsystems.com in the past.

Its funny seeing someone totally rate a site/dealer that I would not use again.

There are some interesting on-line spearing stores based in Hawaii. I haven't purchased from them yet but have been tempted (Hattori flat dive knives, etc.).
