Best time of year to dive greece/ santorni?

first is diving around santorini good? Is spearing any good there? If not also reccomend other areas of greece that are better.

Second, is there a season of the year that provides better vizibility, less waves and all around better diving conditions?

Spearfishing is amazing there and the waters are warmer than in the rest of the Aegean,since it's an active volcano!
Best months are June-July and Sept...Because in August the boat traffic is really heavy and it;s gets dangerous!You can sill fish but better stay close to the shore!
