and the big day has come, tomorrow morning I'll on the way for an 8 day diving trip to one of the coolest regions in Turkey. "Gokova" . I'll post a detailed report when I'm back until then wish me luck

Where is Gokova? I lived in Turkey for 4 years and I don't remember Gokova.

Gokova is just at the south ofMarmaris Cingene.

ps: dive trip was a disaster I dived for 4 days and could only hunt 2 breams (app. 1kg) and a grouper (2kgs).

Memo, do you live in Izmir? There are places there that I have stalked many big animals...without shooting of course. Because they were wayyy too big.

I live in Ankara but I spent my summer all travelling around mediterenian and eagean sea. I've also seen a very large grouper at this dive trip but its too smart (or I'm not adequate) to be hunted

Hey Memo,

Last summer i was in Ankara. I went to visit my elder sister. I looked to find some dive shop but couldn't find any. Do you know good place to shopping? May be some place with extraordinary equipment???

I know one good diving shop in Ankara, but I dont think you could find extra ordinary equipment in there shops in here are basically specialized in scuba but also keep little amount of spearfishing accesories. I also know 2 good shops in istanbul, one is the distributor of Omer and other is dist. of sporasub and mares, they are good for our job
