The local Maldivian divemasters then threatened to go out and kill every single one they could find, just to stop them getting the business and making money.

Couple of months later, they passed a ban on fishing Napoleon Wrasse yayyyyyy
Now that is some ass backwards thinking by those guys. Basically proves that those dive masters dont give a rats hind quarters about what happens on "their" reef, as long as they get to line their pocketbooks. Bad publicity for our sport also. Unchecked comercial fishing is a bad deal, no doubt of it, but the method of protest should always be considered.
Nice fish....this is a spearfishing website, right?

There is also a current but oldstanding law in England that allows an Englishman to kill a Welshman with a longbow in Hereford's high street, providing the Welshman agrees. Much the same thing really dont you think?
Not really. Nail a welshman with an arow from a hundred yards off, and even if ya dont stone him you can always duck into an alley and run.:) Now put a spear into a fish that big, and if you dont make a really good shoot and turn out his light, your in for a battle you wouldnt beleive.
If some people are not into shooting big wrasses, thats totally cool with me. I wont give ya a hard time. oops, to late I already did. On the other hand, I hate to see people get a bunch of flack for shooting a legal fish and eating it. :) :martial
