There are some fishing buoys about a mile offshore from me that attract some dorado and stuff. So they are well within kayak range. Has anyone ever tried to hunt large pelagic fish from a kayak? My thought would be to tie off to a buoy and work the area around it. My only concern is that I would not be able to keep up with a school of fish in a kayak.

any thoughts?
