Boys survive 90min under ice

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Two boys, aged seven and nine, survived 60 and 90 minutes under ice respectively, with no apparent side effects. According to the article, their core temps were still 27C:

Note the reference to Wim Hof's world record of 66'04" in zero degree water (in which case his core temp never fell below 35C).

Hi,
due to what is heard from the Austrian media, the younger of the brothers is well, but the older one still suffers from severe impairment, suchas lack of speech and movement. Prognoses regarding a full recovery are very uncertain.
