Hello together,

first i am really impressed how much you guys (trux, eric fattah, van riet paap, mullins, kars and more :) ) know about freediving and the physiology. Thank you for your knowledge.

Does anybody know how he can increase his STA time in one year from 07:12 to 12 min???

Greetings

Sebastian

Thanks for listing me along those true giants ;) LOL :D

Simple answer: I don't.

I'm just a happy camper with my modest 7' pb.

If you've made it already up to 7'+ I have to salute you and you own my big respect already. As of training idea's - I like Eric's / Nitche's interval O2 training. Start with exhale, inhale 1 sip of air when needed and continue until you're full of air. In my book you'll have a lot of quality training time, meaning your O2/CO2 levels are high for a nice long stretch without the waiting in between. A time efficient way of training. If I would like to reach for 7'+ I would be looking into time efficient ways of training.

Have enough rest and nutritious food too.
Have multiple buddies so your intensive training does not put much demand on them.
Live regularly, keep a journal.
Plan many intermediate steps to keep the joy and motivation high.

Just some broad strokes, for the tested detailed stuff ask Eric, Mullins, Branko and all the really knowledgeable freedivers here.

Enjoy the journey,

Kars

Thanks for your answer Kars :wave

My pb by the way is 5:01 and i'm training for freediving since last summer.
Not that long like you.
i can remember that Branco said in one thread, that he can understand now why Mifsud reaches his 11:35. Now he beat him over a minute. Really incredible. I think there are important things that he or his buddy knows.

Never did an O2-Training and never got LMC or BO yet.
I always do single inhale 1:20 apnea exhale inhale reply CO2 training.
Thx Mr. Fattah :)

Greetings

Sebastian
