Break shoes of monofin. Way to repair ?

Hi,
I just break my dear mono fin on my last session :-( Does someone know a way to repair this ?

Yes, you can repair it don't worry.

First, you need proper rubber glue, not just grocery store kind but the strong stuff. This is known as one good candidate, read instructions and be careful with ventilation: http://www.rematiptop.com/technical/ind/REMA-TIP-TOP-SC4000-Cement-Bonding-Procedures-v5.pdf

For the rubber you need to first prepare the surfaces by sanding away the surface on a larger area, you can't just glue the two ends back together. You need a patch on one or both sides, depending on how you can fit the patches. Buy some 1-2-3mm thick rubber pieces that you can try around the break see how they fit. Larger the patch the better it will hold.

In the future, always use soap to wear the fin if you didn't already.
