i’ve been doing a breath holding training to try to improve my time. I was curious on how long i can go without training or breath holding without my breath hold time being affected.

There are two parts to breath holding, the mental and physical. I would liken the physical adaptation to running or lifting, how long can you go before you start losing performance. In the same fashion, it may take similar time and dedication to see improvements as if you were training in the gym or field.
