hi all

my girlfriend wants to buy a mono fin and she's browsing the web for hours a day. those breier mono's are by far the funkiest ones. but are they as good as they look?

(if they are i get one also)

I have tried 2 Breier carbon fins and I think they are OK. BUT: You should take a look at the many new fins that are produced today that has an angle between blade and footpocket.

Some links:

www.skate2000.nm.ru
www.sebakfins.net
www.finswimworld.com (Waterway) ask Bogdan about the model with angle.

Maybe even Mat-mas can deliver this kind of fin. www.mat-mas.com.

Bottomline is that I think there are other fins that is as good or maybe better than the Breiers.

Hello!

The finswimmers use mono's with angle and many have found that they can improve results.

I have tried a couple of angled fins and I have found it very good for both constant weight and dynamic! The angle makes the blade in line with the body and one of the good things is that it makes it easier to relax on the descent of a dive. If you have very flexible ankles you won't benefit from the angle in the same way that a person with stiff ankles (feets). Many girls have flexible ankles.

I hope you have some help from this.:)

I think you can find much information at this forum about this if you search for "angle" or look at the threads about monos.

I hope you find THE fin;)
