Broke my monofin

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

I think it was during a turn in the pool. I didn't realize until I looked down and saw part of it hanging off.
Anyone seen this kind of break before? Is there no hope for repair?

Super sad to hear :( Effectively fixing the rubber part would be the most complicated, the carbon (or fiberglass) sheet is doable. Have you managed to find a solution? We decided to build modular fins, so that if something like this happens it's enough to just swap the broken part and not have to waste a perfectly good foot pocket. Let me know if you'd like instructions on fixing the sheet :)

I didn't find a solution yet. I was thinking perhaps I could insert a rod into the rubber part. Can you send me instructions on fixing the fiberglass sheet? And can you tell me more about your modular fins?
