hello all,
well i ordered a gun for inshore stuff, a 100cm RA with a 20mm band.

i now move to my next project

i want to design and build a bluewater gun, most likely from laminated teak.
i plan on making it look like a riffe/wong ono gun of about the Ono size.

what i am looking for is input as to what "little things" it should have to make it a great speargun.
think of what you love on your guns and things you don't.
think of what you wish your gun had.
finishes, materials, handles, triggers, bands, the whole nine yards
even if you think a certain type of mono is better than another.

let me know and ill start to draw up the plans and a materials list and eventually start making it, pictures will ensue.

thanks for the help and ill keep you all posted with the progression.

and one more

the sheets are 1/2 inches thick from lexan and the pipe is marine aluminum alloy

Well those are interesting and answers my post in the other thread. I love the lexan gun, sort of like the back of an Omega speedmaster where you can see the bits inside working :)
