Had a go at making a couple of inverters for hunting Wahoo, Dogtooth & Marlin. I called the gun Kraken
Bands going throw the back rollers are 20mm and the rest are 19mm. Carbon strips to stop the gun flexing. Titanium stopper tube to reduce weight at the front to help balance the 10mm x 165cm double offset Hunt flopper shaft, shaft weight with shooting cable is 1.1kg. Band stretch 145cm. Overall gun length 165cm, 11.2 meters of 1.6mm vinyl coated shooting cable. 2 x ceramic bearings in each delrin rollers. Handle has 2mm carbon plate for strength.
Ermes second generation double roller trigger.

Hey Paul. Welcome to DB and how’s that for a first few posts! That’s a sweet as(s) gun for sure!

I’m still addicted to improving airguns but if I wasn’t, I’d be on the inverter path, too.

Just one question for now; how many “pulls” do you need to do on this gun in total to load it? Just three? The wishbone and then two extra bands on the bottom?
Or is it four in total?

Hi David, Thanks... The gun is 4 loading in total.

If these are the first spearguns you have build them I tip my hat for you. Pretty impressive power and very nice craftsmanship! Can’t wait to see more of those builds. Welcome to the forum!

Hi Kodama, Thanks.... I have made a few guns over the years, quite a few went into my BBQ wood pile before I got things right.
Yes the he power in very impressive. I wanted to see the maximum range of this gun, but had to stop testing with the COVID-19 lockdown.

What I am really impressed with is how this is just not your ordinary little home build - I mean, the parts alone carry a hefty price tag. For the price of the bearings and trigger alone you can buy a very decent complete Euro gun;)
Well, if anything is worth doing... and all that...;)
