buying first freediving fins

I am buying my first freediving fins as i am a begginer to freediving. i have a tight budget and i've been looking around for fins and i am thinking of biuying the imersion E-greens, i could not find any rev iews of them so if anyone has used them before or knows anything about them, i would love some information about them,

ps. if u could also reccomend some fins i should get if not those that would be great.

My brother recently got the green fins as he wanted a wider foot pocket and these seemed to fit the bill well. They seem pretty good and reasonably soft for plastic fins and he certainly has no complaints. I will forward on this thread to him but can't remeber if he is registered on here or not. Other wise is tehre anything particular you need to know and I will ask.

I have a similar question to the original thread. I'm also new to freediving and want to get my first set of fins. Can anyone offer opinions on the following fins, which all seem to be at a similar price:
Beuchat mundial competition, Omer stingray, Cressi garas (which!?), Mares razor pro
It's likely I will have to purchase them online, which is not ideal, so any advice on foot pocket fit, blade stiffness, weight etc would be greatly appreciated.

diver the only thing I would say is on the garas as I have a pair for the last few years. I went for the harder set not the lds and they are to hard for me even though I have stong legs and am a big kinda guy not small so though I could handle them but should have gone for the softer option. carbons are the next fin for me but don't make sense if starting out.

Footpocket comfort is the first point to deal with. E-greens are wide, Omers and Dessault are medium, Cressi and Beuchat are narrow.
Footpocket stiffness is next. Cressi and Beuchat footpockets are soft, E-greens and Dessaults are medium, and Omer and Picasso are stiff. It affects the feel of the fin, and the swimming, with stiffer footpockets making surface swimming more difficult.
Next is whether you will be doing much surface swimming. The E-greens and Cressi 3000LD are softer and therefore better than most for surface swimming. Almost anything will do if you are only diving, and have a boat next to you to pick up your catch.
I really like my E-greens, and only got away from them when I ugraded to E-carbons.
The last point is that a lot of new divers get talked into a stiff fin to provide more power. A lot of divers ahve shown that it is perception of greater effectiveness, but not better performance. For most divers, performance is better with a softer fin.

if you want a great fin for a reasonable price which is well worth the money have a look at the crssi gara 3000LD or 2000 there are no bad reviews cant go wrong there about $79-$89 by dollers i mean pounds my key boards screwed:head

I would suggest H.Dessault Performance fins, very good footpockets, classic design and good performance. I'm relatively new and have a horrible finning technique, but with Dessault it doesn't look so bad, than for example with my friends Leaderfins, which are way softer. When choosing, I also tried Imersion E-greens, E blacks and gray Challengers and liked green ones more than others. What I don't like, are Imersion's too soft footpockets, very comfortable to put on, but horrible for swimming, they feel like small swimming training fins.
PS. you can always upgrade Dessault fins by changing blades.

Are you sure, that you had Imersion blue fins? I haven't seen model like that before.

thats int salen where baouts did they break use imersion carbons myself but just got them recently and have both black and green for the school. have been using the green for a while but only got the black in a few weeks ago.
