So , C4 bey kindly replaced my Graphite 116 by the new Gladius 115.
i only used it once due to weather conditionsand it’s super light, easy to manoeuver and shot straight as !
i am trying to get a reel as I am not a fan of the float in the current and the C4 Hercules is not ready yet.
the barrel is flat carbon with 2 screws separated by 53 mm. I am not sure which reel could fit
As anyone tried to fix one, and which model please ?
Thank you again to Rafaella from C4 Italy, she’s been so helpful !

I have the Gladius 85. Only been able to test it in the pool but should be able to take it to the sea next week.

I fitted a reel from Seatec bit had to drill an extra hole. The Hercules reel should be available from June you should be able to order it very soon.

Gladius 85 shoots up to 4m.

I drilled a hole in the metal base of the reel not in the carbon barrel. All the holes have treaded inserts in them so it is best to use those.

If you can’t find the Hercules I would check out the Hunt reels. Pretty sure they would fit, the large hole allows for some play.

I have been looking at the Hunt 100, that’s the only one I could find in Australia. Will look again. Thanks

If the wait for the Hercules becomes unbearable, maybe consider the Sigalsub Edy, its a great reel well made comes in three sizes, and three materials.
Nylon, Alloy and Carbon. Would not look out of place on the Gladius.
I have the nylon version fitted to a Riffe Competitor with 55mm centres, the machined slots give a fair bit of adjustment tho.
superb gun BTW.

Can someone tell me what band size to use if I want to convert my 95cm Gladius to two 14mm bands?

I'll be using the original 14mm primeline rubbers.
