Freediving Friends,

CAFA has recently added a section to it's website called "Competition Manual". This link is to help those of you who may be first time competition organizers with most of the nesseccary checklists, rules, spreadsheets and supporting documents involved in most small to medium sized competitions.

The link can be found at http://www.freedivecanada.com/comp/manual/index.html We hope you find this a useful tool in helping make your next or first competition a successful one.

Sincerely,

Kirk,

That's terrific information to share. We have been talking for some time in Sydney about organising a local competition for but the thought of producing from scratch all of what you have posted on the CAFA site has been rather daunting to say the least. It provides an amazing head start for us and really removes many of the excuses we have been leaning on.

Thanks from the freedivers downunder.

Andy

Bit too late for us with our comp two weeks away - but thanks SO much for providing that info Kirk - It has served as a great last minute check list...

and helped me with my arguement that we should have scuba cover on the warm up lines!

good luck with the big one

Sam
