Cali8Fold was born out the need to have apparel reflecting our spiritual journey, connection to nature, and promotion of a mindful livelihood.

The Northern California coastline is rugged, treacherous, and full of shockingly cold water. We are all in. Most non marked entries require a bit of scrambling, closed toed shoes, a healthy amount of motivation, and a variety of expletives on hand. Your reward is the dodging around sea structures, a healthy amount of surge, and kelp pulling at your legs. The payoff comes in the form of the most beautiful sub-surface forests and ocean life on the planet. You’ve earned the views, take it in. Cali8Fold will be there to warm you up along with the sun.

Cali8Fold maintains a commitment to sustainability; thus, we source the fiber yarns and knit yarns for our heat retaining hoodies locally and from the best suppliers around the globe. Most of our diving apparel is cut in a factory in SoCal (we won’t hold it against them). While the poly bags used in our packaging are recyclable, low-density polyethylene, FDA and USDA compliant.

What about that ink which could wash into the ocean? Whelp, we’ve thought of that as well. In effort to remain a green freediving clothing company, we use Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste.

The Cali8Fold family is a family of U.S. military veterans and we do our best to support our local manufacturers. We have partnered to develop a hybrid approach to manufacturing; leveraging both America’s and our international partners’ strength to create the highest quality freediving clothing, at the best price, all while supporting U.S. jobs.

We'd be honored if you gave us a look.
