Can the JBL Competition Magnum Series Triple Sling Speargun take out 30 pound WSB

Hi All,

I am about to purchase the JBL Competition Magnum Series Triple Sling Speargun and I was wondering if this gun can take out White Seabass?? I mainly will be hunting smaller fish but the WSB do reside where I plan to dive and I want to be ready. Please let me know. My budget is $250.00 for the gun alone. Please help
