Hi everyone!
I just recently took the molchanovs lap 1/wave 1 course and I have issues with equalising head down.
From surface to 5 meters, I have no problem equalising. However, once I reach 5 meters, my left ear just won’t equalise. I tried doing constant pressure from the surface and similarly it stops working for my left ear at 5 meter mark. I tried double/triple equalising each meter before 5 meters and it stops at 5 meters too. Once I uprighted my body (feet down), I’m able to equalise again and go lower.
Anybody experience this before? I kind of find it weird how its always in the 5 meters mark. I tried closing my eye or averting my gaze from knowing the depth marks, but similarly it always stop at 5 meters (so I know its not a mental thing). FYI, I do valsalva method.
Do you have any tips and trick on how to get rid of this ‘barrier’? Or what might cause it?
Thank you beforehand!
