Having used a number of "Titanium" lined suits, open cell is noticeably better.
In my opinion the best compromise on the market the right now is the Heiwa Neoprene wit the "new black coating" also known as the "black shadow" coating. It is applied to open-cell neoprene and makes it easy to slide into, but really seals around you body and provides excellent warmth.
No idea who else sells it other than elios.
I don't find lube that hard to use. I prefer to put it on me and then slide into the wetsuit. Put apparently I just do things backwards![]()
