You can also try goodwood pool, Faizy also a DB member but very quiet of late does classes there and Im sure he wont mind to help out a fellow freediver. Ill give him a ring and let you know. The belliville pool is pretty crowded most of the time, with swimming classes and a whole lot else :)

The goodwood pool is a olimpic size pool, Ive just spoken to Faiz and Ill call you with the superintendants no as soon as I get it, Faiz can unfortunately not help us with the key, because hes in Langebaan till tomorrow. He did say if he was here you could just take his key but well make a plan... Your looking for the pool tonight hey.

ok so since tonights dive is working out, ill put on my flippers mask and snorkel in the bath and aim my gun at my little rubber ducky.. but in the mean time, lets home miles can arrange a boat dive for the weekend. (but lets keep in mind he is a commercial fisherman) and when the fish call he needs to answer) so do you guys wanna organize a plan B shorey.

Hiya

Just got back from sea. Another simply fabulous day out on the water:D:D

Saturday is perfect for me!! Wind will be light inshore but very strong on the tuna grounds, so i'll be sitting at home:D:D

With the howling south easter predicted for tommorow, Atlantic side should be CLEAN!! Besides, i really need to get some diving practice:D:D

Regards

Im allready crew on another boat for tomorrow and wont be able to go out on sunday, freinds are having their baby baptized... Well probably be working Smitswinkel inside the bay. Theyre predicting a 30km/h westerly for that area tomorrow...

heya guys, DT and myself went out towards cape point on Sat, Weahter was awesome, ocean was flat as a snooker table, but alas Viz was 0. :( But at least the trip around cape point made it worth while :)

I also have to anounce that my diving will be on hold for a little while due to my wifey standing on the virge of delivering my baby girl. Which should happen this week or next week at latest.

But im sure ill just be in the way once little "Megan" has arrived and wifey will duely chase me out of the house to go diving :) but ill stick around the forums and splatter my 2cents on every post. :D

Good luck bro. I must say it was a pretty awesome day at sea and Ive added a house in smitswinkel to my wishlist for one day when Im big :D . At the moment its just a new mask :waterwork that one fitted perfectly :vangry :vangry . I did phone Louis though and he said to bring it in and hell see if he can organise me something, man I sure hope so!!

Somehow or another both my lenses shatered, like in theres only small peices of lense left in the frame. I dont know how I dont know when during the trip it happened, it just did  :waterwork . And my mask was in the same place it always and normally not on such calm seas as saturday. Like covert said it was flat as a snooker table :head
But Ill go see what Louis can do for me before I start shopping who knows I mite get a new one for free, freebies yay

yep his mask is the weirdest thing ive ever seen was lying underneat som spearguns, and I dont see that the wheight of them could have shattered his glasses. Scary thing though the glass shattered, (not shatterpuffe) imagine he was down at 30m and it shattered then ... :( hell thats a scary thought

Hiya

What boat did you guys go out on?? I was out on Saturday too, and had a great day out in the deep!! Did you guys see that HUGE school of dolphins chasing baitfish just outside the point?? Found some small longfin tuna and BIG, 8-12kg yellowtail also in that area, sort of between Bellows and South West Reefs, very close to Harolds Bank.

Also DIK yellowtail just off Bordjies on SUNDAY!!

Just for interest sake, the water was 22 degrees with 40m+ viz in the deep on Saturday!!

Well like you said atleast my ribcage is still intact, what a freak accident that is rofl . Seriously though Im still a bit pissed off about those kids catching one chocka after the other. You should have seen it, the water was so cold all the fish disapeared and it was too dirty to dive so we dicide to head into the harbour and anchor to catch a few squid, got to take something home you know, we didnt catch a single one and like 10m away three little kids prob not more than 10y old were catching them one after the other, I swear theyre still laughing at us :) . Hopefully our luck will turn soon though.

We were on a red and white wave breaker, Double Up. We were out more in smutswinkel and closer to shore at Cape point, water was 13deg with less than 3m vis :head

yeah lets write that off as a bad day :D next time well ask uncle miles to show us where the fishies go.... Apparently we are clueless since we were halfway to bellows then decided to not waste petrol and turn back. ... sigh . .....
