Carp Anyone?

Oooh, I hope you're allowed to spear carp in Lake Mead:martial
 
In this case, colt, I did catch a few with my paws. They are at the surface because they are begging for food. It was easy to stick a finger in their mouths, downward into their gill opening, and lip them out of the water (make an "OK" sign with your hand; that's what it looks like). My wife was very impressed :yack
 
I'll have to try that next time. But most likely ill just bring my bowfishing stuff

And then this rises up out of the pond like a vast hose, vacuuming in the food.... Might as well just empty a whole tub of fish food into its mouth.

Nothing enjoys its food like a carp. It's the way they try to climb out of the water to get it and the noise they make, sucking in a mixture of air, water and food, or at least they hope that someone will post food into their open mouths.

Hei Naiad, still planning to move out of London for that carp breeding course? Hurry up, pack your luggage: september is near and carps are sooo hungry!

Actually, you are allowed to in lake mead. It just so happens that I am moving to Las Vegas on the 4th of next month. Looks like i'll need to bring my spearfishing gear and a BIG dumpster :yack he he he

One of the local lakes has a fair number of carp. I'd like to have a go at those.
