Hi Guys,

just curious how you guys catch Octopus while spearing?
Do you spear it or just grab it with your hand?
Then what do you do once you have caught it?

Thanks in advance

Grab it with the hand, bite it between the eyes to numb it, take the beek away. Once you get to shore, take out the stuff in the head (try to keep the inkbag intact if you wanna use it in the cooking), bash it against a rock like 80times, wash it against a rock until all the ”soap” disappears, rinse thoroughly with fresh water so it doesnt get so salty when cooked.

Bon apetit!
