Hi all,

Anyone with ideas on how to make chapatis or byriani? Will really appreciate.

There are so many vasriations to byriani (including even the spelling) it would be impossible to recommend any specific recipe. Basmati rice delicately seasoned, often with saffron, should always be cooked seperate from the thick-reduced meat with sauce. Then the two are layered and slow heated/steamed to create a complex statification of taste and texture. Google it and you'll be overwhelmed with ideas. Get cracking and report back on your eforts.

In Texas chapatis are called tortillas. (joke)
