As i havent been around for ages... i thought i'd start a thread!

i am stealing the wireless connection from the dive centre as I am waiting to get online at home... not something our local telephone provider sees as a priority!

So.... whats on your wishlist for Christmas?

here's mine....

1. A new monofin
2. An Orca Breathe suit
3. Some nice lingerie ;)
4. Something sparkly! :girlie

Do you count them in terms of years Poida, or rack them up each time one of your personalities celebrates one? :p

My list :
1) Just more time in the ocean.
2) A non-sultana containing Christmas cake.
3) A diving Peytie in the sea!! (My 5 year old, who confidently dives to the bottom of a 2 metere pool now.)

- A job,
- An empathetic leadership that does not engage in corruption and coercion.
- A single way ticked to a remote land with few people and rich blue waters.
- The ability to correct one's own bad habits.
- Motivation.

A bottle of Port along with about a 4lb lump of Stilton cheese.
A Cuban cigar the size of a tomahawk missile.
A 12lb bar of Toblerone chocolate.
And a quite couple of days to enjoy it all.

Oh and if somebody’s buying I’ll have a new boat!:):):)

A prospering economy (inc. lower taxes).
World peace
Snow @ Christmas
Fine weather in the Summer.
A new camo wettie (but it can wait)
A glass of port and a mince pie.
Some nice lingerie & something sparkly for Island_Sands (you'll be uploading images, right? ;))

Oh yes Santa, how about a replacement for the Sieko SKX007K2 watch that you brought me last year - it looses the odd half hour/hour now! Haven't even worn it in the sea :(.

AS I LIVE IN DUBAI... CHANCES ARE...

With a new shiny smoothskin suit and monofin ready next to a hole in the ice.

Add some candles for some warm light :girlie , and some stars to the dark blue sky filling up the space of the highland.

Looks like a new photoshop project :p

I would like to see some of the old timers come back to posting on db & liven the place up for Christmas :friday
I also would like assurance my Christmas party will go smoothly with nobody getting burnt! (happens every year)

Out of interest, what is Christmas like in Dubai?

I dont need much, but just a small ask for Santa would be... world peace, lower winter fuel bills for the elderly, and a roofrack for the Vitara...

I might also look at a new Elios Black Shadow as i've only been thru 2 suits this year :( Those Orca Suits do look well made, but they dont got a hood!!

Anyhow I have found you lot to be a bunch of humbugs in years gone by!!

1. No more women in my house - 3 is enough ;-)
2. At least one night in Mart's firehouse with all the trimmings ;-)
3. Learn a 4th chord on the guitar
4. A time machine........

At my age, anything close would be exciting. You can leave off what you don't find.

I wish for a return to diving activities, including more involvement on deeperblue. I've missed the forums, and I haven't been diving in over two years. I'd like a wetsuit that doesn't require three layers of completely different suits to stay warm in the chilly Pacific.

I'd also like a job that allows me to settle in and be useful while providing a decent salary. After two years at a dream job turned nightmare, I just want to do my 9-5, Monday through Friday. I have no illusions of a perfect job, but a decent one would be nice.

Happiness and prosperity to all, including my DB friends :)
