Christmas wish-list

Nice one Princess, we have another party this Sunday, its for my friends kids really.
We have about 15 children & 30 adults coming along to see Santa & his two helpers.
Sarah & myself will be dressed as the elf helpers & my mate will be Santa...wish us luck!

New carbon fiber blades for my Riffe fins.
Bigger and dumber fish in 2012.
Calm and clear seas.
A regular dive buddy. No shit. It's hard to find someone to go with all the time here in Belize ever since my son and other buddy took off for SE Asia.

Warm water and heavy duty photographic gear - like a 24K euro digital Hasselblad for medium format photograpy...a nice uw casing with a dome port for a pro DSLR Canon or Nikon with an extreme wide angle lens, a trip to Bora Bora and that all of you really really have a good Christmas. I can't be totally material! Have to wish for some world peace as well :) It's nice getting back to DB and seeing you all here - oh, and before I forget, a great job for Kars!

I got exactly what I wanted for Christmas this year- a new set Skate skis. The only problem is that while I was taking the Christmas tree off of my car's roof rack it slipped out of my hands and the stump landed on my big toe- which immediately broke. :crutch

Now, they say I can't run, dive, or ski for 6 weeks! :waterwork Thankfully, it's been a pretty dry season so far so I'm not missing any skiing. I guess I can still do a bit of biking, since my shoes have rigid plates in them, but that's about it. The doctor even warned me about swimming since she doesn't want me doing kick turns and is worried about me even bumping my toe.

Here's an X-ray of the break:

Sorry Jon, that sucks. But you can't be lucky all the time. :t

Get well soon, my friend.

But you can't be lucky all the time.

You're right there Spago, it seems I used up all of my luck a couple of months ago when I visited your country and escaped unharmed. rofl It looks like Monterosso is making a comeback, but Vernazza might take a while before she's returned to her former glory.

Adrian, thanks for the quick fix. I feel much better now and might try to go out dancing tonight- or not. ;)

2 more weeks and I might be able to start skiing. We may even have snow by then! So far, the warm dry weather we've had is making the wait a bit easier. I did try my skis on in the family room and visualized what it might feel like. My foot didn't hurt just standing there so I'll take that as a good sign.

Well one of my wishes did come true as we had a great Kids party last night.
Unfortunately I did not get the chance to take many pictures but here is one to prove that, I at least was having a ball!
There were 15 kids, associated parents & friends making this one pretty big party, I will hopefully get some more pics sent my way?

I think for Christmas we would ALL like to attend a Guernsey Christmas party!!!

Tony- I can't believe you said that! I am shocked!

Carla

I'm not sure if his wife reads his posts on this forum, so maybe put it on a piece of paper in the sock next to the open fire?
It could turn out to yield a pleasant surprise, or a painful one ;) :chatup
